Mid Louth Youth Darts Academy Smashes 1,000,001 Score for Local Cancer Support
There were a million and one reasons to celebrate at the Glyde Rangers GFC clubrooms as the Mid Louth Youth Darts Academy successfully shattered an ambitious fundraising ceiling, hitting a cumulative score of 1,000,001 with 15 minutes to spare.
The action kicked off promptly at midday across numerous boards. Talented young players from the academy were joined by visiting throwers from the Drogheda Youths Dart Academy and Meath County Darts, keeping the arrows flying continuously until 5:45 PM.
While the kids powered through the marathon session, adult players stepped in to assist across the boards, ensuring participants could take well-deserved breaks while keeping the momentum high.
Community Leaders Join the Finale
As the final scores were tallied, the academy was delighted to welcome special guests for the grand finale, including Jo Lennon representing Ardee Cancer Care and local representative Cllr John Sheridan.
