Domino’s Ardee Officially Opens with a “Wee” Celebration!
As excitement peaks for Louth’s All-Ireland semi-final, Domino’s has arrived in Ardee, marking the occasion with a playful nod to our county’s famous nickname.
It has been a massive summer for County Louth, and the arrival of a new Domino’s store in Ardee is adding to the buzz. To celebrate the grand opening, the team created bespoke miniature pizza boxes containing handmade “Wee Pizzas”—a fun tribute to the “Wee County” moniker.

Eoin Corrigan, Head of Marketing at Domino’s Ireland, said: “It’s been an incredible few weeks for everyone in Louth. We couldn’t resist leaning into the ‘Wee County’ nickname, so we created these tiny pizza boxes as a fun way to mark the occasion as we build up to a huge weekend in Croke Park.”
While the “Wee Pizzas” were a limited-edition treat, the new store is now fully operational, bringing local employment and the full Domino’s menu to customers throughout Ardee and the surrounding areas, both for collection and delivery.
