Louth County Council Announces 2026 Mattress and Couch Amnesty Dates
Louth County Council has officially confirmed the dates and locations for the upcoming 2026 Mattress and Couch Amnesty. Organised as part of the Anti-Dumping Initiative, the initiative aims to combat illegal dumping and encourage responsible household waste disposal.
The free disposal event will run across Wednesday, 2nd September 2026, and Thursday, 3rd September 2026. Please note that while the disposal of eligible items is free, the standard €4 recycling centre entry fee continues to apply at civic amenity sites.

Date & Time: Thursday, 3rd September 2026 (9:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
